Experience Summary
I have studied music for over 30 years starting at the age of five. I studied Jazz Performance (bass) at Berklee College of Music and then went on to study Ethnomusicology at Florida State University. I have taught Electric Bass and music theory for more than 10 years and have performed thousands of gigs in all styles of music for the past 20 years. I teach all styles of music to all levels of musicians.
Teaching Style
I customized each students lessons with their needs and desires, concentrating on proper technique, understanding the theory behind what is being played and and the ability to improvise. fundamentals lead to a better understanding of musical styles and allow the student to progress exponentially as the years pass.
