Experience Summary
I am a fluent German speaker who is passionate about the language and inspiring others to learn one of the most important languages in the EU, the business world, the literary world, and the philosophical world. I have spent years living in Berlin, Germany and will soon begin a PHD program in Holocaust studies. I have been both an English tutor in Germany and a German tutor in the states and understand how to make learning a foreign language a fun process where the hard work goes seemingly unnoticed!
Teaching Style
I believe that it is essential to master the basics of the language before moving forward. You shouldn't build a house on a weak foundation. You may know a million awesome German words but if you cannot place them, conjugate them, or pronounce them properly then you might as well just use online translations. I am very passionate about the German language and want to inspire my students to love learning German the right way.
