Experience Summary
I have been a tutor for several years.
While in college, I have tutored several subjects.
Here are my testing scores:
ACT 32 (English 35, Science 31, Math 33, Reading Comprehension 29)
SAT 2100 (Verbal 670, Math 700, Writing 730)
Based on my scores for the National Merit test, I was selected as a National Achievement scholar.
I have tutored in both group and individual settings. I believe that the best way to improve is to PRACTICE.
Teaching Style
We will begin by determining where your strengths and weaknesses within a particular are. This will be accomplished through the use of a standardized practice test that I will provide. After determining what is necessary, I will work with you on all aspects of the subject. We will spend the majority of the time on those areas that are not as strong as the others; however, we will still spend a significant amount of time on those things which you have already reached proficiency. PERFECT PRACTICE makes PERFECT.
I believe that strong areas should not be ignored, but instead should be periodically reinforced.
