Experience Summary
I graduated from Towson University, Towson, Maryland in 2010 and since then I am working as a research technician in University of Maryland, Baltimore in a genomic lab conducting research in DNA replication initiation. I am also working with micro arrays. Although I do not have any teaching experience I am confident than with the knowledge that I acquired through my degree and work experience, I can guide students towards success.
Also, when I was back home (I am originally from Nepal) I used to tutor my friends of the same class or grade. Also, while in college we studied in a group. While doing so I found myself so influencing to my friends while we share knowledge. So, this time I thought I can give my talent a try and start teaching as a real tutor.
In the other hand, I strongly believe that no student requires a tutor. Each student is a tutor to himself. It is in the best part of the student, if he or she can concentrate in the class and ask questions to the teacher. Also, studying in a group helps a lot.
Beside that I also believe that every student is weak in some subject. If so it is always better to consult a tutor. If somebody needs help with basic science, biology, molecular biology, Genetics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics I am always ready to help them prepare for success. I will work hard not only to succeed in the exam, but also to gain real knowledge, which will be helpful throughout his/her academic life.
