Experience Summary
I have 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience including small classroom lecture and one on one interaction. I have a supplemental instruction certification that helps me effectively cater to many different learning styles. I enjoy finding creative ways to provide new perspective to students struggling with the learning process.
I received a masters in chemistry where I focused on physical chemistry doing research and teaching laboratories for over 2 years. I have tons of experience with analytical, organic and inorganic chemistry as well. The teaching required extensive knowledge of experimental equipment, classroom lecture and one on one instruction. This degree required extensive higher level mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra and differential equations.
Teaching Style
I'm passionate about science and love teaching it to students. My philosophy about learning difficult subjects is that everyone has the ability to understand them, they just haven't had the opportunity to see it the way they need to in order to understand.
I can offer patience and creativity to help students of any grade level grasp difficult concepts and use higher level understanding to tackle mathematics problems.
My Hobbies
Outdoor activities, music, water sports, travel, painting and astronomy.
