Experience Summary
I have tutored highschool algebra and chemistry for family and friends for the last 25 years. I have also worked for a certified tutoring service where I helped students with math and science at their place of residence. I teach the subject matter to the student by ensuring that they are engaged in the problem solving process. This is accomplished by working closely with them and continuously questioning them to assist them in working through the problem solving process. The amount of assistance is dependent on the student's knowledge and varies according to their individual needs.
