Experience Summary
I have more than 3 years of experience living in Japan including two and a half years teaching English. I have also been tutoring Japanese since I was a college student and studying the language for over eight years. I am familiar with standardized tests in both languages such as the JLPT and the TOEFL/TOEIC. I am also currently volunteering and working towards a Minnesota state teaching license and a Master's degree in Education.
Teaching Style
Casual go-at-your-own-pace, or intensive study. I can help you prepare for a standardized test like the JLPT, a school placement exam or a trip to Japan. I have good knowledge of high school and college Japanese curriculums so I can help you as move through a corse, or help you skip ahead a year.
