Experience Summary
I have a BS Degree in Personnel Management from the Moscow Humanitarian Social Academy and a Masters Degree in Psychodrama-therapist, Group therapist, Social-metrics from the Institute of Psychodrama and Role Training, Moscow Russia. In the past 15 years I have worked at major Russian companies as a business trainer, coordinating, managing and conducting trainings for thousands of people. I have learned the importance of tailoring the trainings to the abilities and needs of the individuals and the situation. I have owned and managed, both a US and Russian company simultaneously, to import goods to Russia for sale. I know intimately the need for excellent cross language understanding. It is more than just words, it is cultural. These experiences have blessed me with the proper skills and perspective to be an excellent Russian from English instructor. Obviously I work well with adults, but also I love children and relate to them very well. My training is very useful for adults or kids who want to truly learn Russian.
Teaching Style
I’m a native Russian speaker. I have dual citizenship between the US and Russia. I was born in the US and moved back to Moscow at a young age. I have formal training in English and have used it for many years in business and friendships. So I am fluent in both languages. I have been living in the US and Russia 50/50 because of business ventures for some time. I currently am living in the US full time. I have strong knowledge in: business themes- speaking, reading, writing and Russian literature. My previous job as a business trainer helps me to make individual programs suited to your needs. First hour is free – understanding your level, assessing your needs and making your personal learning program with accents on what you really need. I will utilize Language Immersion Methods to teach Russian in the most effective manner)))) The amount of English spoken will depend on the level of Russian understanding. The training will be lively, fun and energetic.
