About Me

Experience Summary

My name is Marian, I studied radio and television department in National Taiwan University of Art in my country-Taiwan. From my childhood until now, I’m always the leader in the groups. For example, the master of ceremonies in school, a team leader of school magazine editing association, the chairman in the class, and now I’m still a team leader of my job. Last year, we had to make a shot film for school work. I was the director, editor and the producer. I think that I have a special way to lead my team. I’ve never scolded anyone if they do something wrong, because like to complete what the boss ask us to do in a happy mood with my partner. Then how to create a happy working environment, that’s what I’ve learned during these years. I began to have a part-time job since I graduated from senior high school. I learned a lot from these jobs. When I worked in California fitness, I learned the art of talking: How to talk to a totally stranger, how to attract customers to come, how to know a person’s interest and chat with one. And working in mo-mo paradise makes me learn much more. It was the first time I worked in a restaurant. I learned not only serving meal and taking order, but also how to face some certain situation readily. When someone makes mistakes, the manager will correct him, and all of us have to learn a lesson, avoiding to making the same mistake again. In addition, I improved my organizing capability and the ability of crisis management. Working in a restaurant, anything can be happening. When there I something wrong, how to handle and recover it are the experiences that worth to learn. By constantly learning and failing, I believe I can do things better and better. I am convinced that imperfect makes perfection. I am a person who always work hard as possible as I can. Because my mother told me not to do things that makes me regret. Maybe I can’t do it perfectly, but unless I have tried my best within my actual ability. My motto is “Anything but ordinary” a song written by Avril Lavigne. I don’t want to be the same as the others. In my mind, I am special and unique! My creation is my greatest excellence. Making good use of it, I believe I can complete many amazing things that others can’t do. Sincerely Marian Chu
