Additional Policies:

Payment: Tuition is paid monthly, with payment due in full prior to the first lesson of the month. Students will not be charged for lessons that fall on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, July Fourth, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. A late fee of $10 will be charged if tuition is not received in full at time of invoice. There is also a $15 charge for all returned checks. Attendance: Please arrive several minutes prior to your lesson’s schedule start time. For in home lessons, be ready at the time of the lesson. Students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time. Students are required to bring to each lesson their violin, shoulder rest, notebook, pencil, and repertoire books. A student may makeup up to Three excused absences per academic year. An absence is excused if the teacher is notified at least 24 hours prior to the lesson start time. Additional student absences will not be rescheduled. There will be no reimbursements for lessons that are skipped due to unexcused absences. In the result Two unexcused absences the lessons will be terminated and there will be no refund. Teacher Absence and Weather Emergencies. Lessons canceled by the teacher will be rescheduled or a credit will be issued towards next month’s tuition invoice. In the event of a weather emergency, students will be notified accordingly. Behavior Policy. Students enrolled for lessons are expected to behave in the same manner they would in any other educational setting. This includes respect for the property and personal property of others as well as mutual respect for all students and faculty. In the result of bad behavior in lessons, the student will be removed for the day. If bad behavior continues it will result in termination of lessons.
