Teaching Style
Teaching methods that I commonly use are class participation, homework, classwork, readings, explaining, demonstrating and lecturing, with a strong emphasis on class discussions, group and individual assignments related to the topic. By using this method, complex accounting areas become easier for the students to understand which gives them a much firmer grasp on how to apply accounting in business.
I find teaching interesting and rewarding. Helping students understand their course material which they find challenging makes me feel like I am doing something valuable. In class discussions I encourage students to provide real life examples related to the course work because students tend to understand more through this method.
