Experience Summary

I am a Graphic Designer real life Experience - Corporate, Freelance, & Think Tank Experience. I have been working in Adobe since high school. I work in Adobe CS5.5, MAC/PC, Photoshop & Dreamweaver are currently my passion. I am very familiar with the Adobe Suite. I have some InDesign experience. I love well-designed, functional, pretty things that make you stop & think or chuckle or want to buy something. I love what design does for products, services, and life in general. We are surrounded by art all the time. Why shouldn’t it look awesome? I went to Texas State, through the Visual Communication Design program and learned the fundamentals of Design. They taught of the masters of graphic design and why they were important. There were classes in Art Direction, Typography, Art History, Printmaking, Photography, and Illustration just to name a small few core classes. It is a wonderful program with a lot of clever minds teaching. Improperly kerned type turns my stomach. I enjoy graphic design and communicating ideas through images. I am a stickler for detail with my work - especially print, as it is forever. Web you can fix, but mistakes are not good anyways. I bring a great dynamic to a team environment and enjoy working will all types of personalities. Creativity flourishes with a diverse group. Graphic Design must communicate to the masses, then items or services are sold. The world is in need of designers who can think - not just work an Adobe program. They must have a great idea. A Graphic Designer must create and execute those ideas to be successful.
