Experience Summary
I worked as a school librarian for the NYC Department of Education from 2003-2001. I have also served as adjunct faculty for the CUNY College Now program. I have planned lessons,units,small group instruction/support, study skills. I am the parent of two sons, both with ADHD, and have guided them through the public school years while finding and creating (and sometimes fighting for) the supports they need to reach their academic potential. I attend local and national ADHD conferences on my own time to further educate myself.
Teaching Style
Authoritative, meaning, friendly, but firm. No such thing as a bad child, only bad behavior choices.
