Experience Summary
I am a college graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education, a major in science and minor in English. I have obtained 22 credits of my masters degree in Teacher Leadership for School Improvement and am 1 course away from my Reading Endorsement. I am also ESOL certified.
I am a certified teacher and experienced tutor. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grades, all subject areas, reading intervention for 2nd and 3rd grade, and reading and math tutoring experience all the way from pre-k through 9th grade. My reading graduate courses have given me great knowledge and understanding about reading difficulties, diagnoses and solutions. My years in the classroom have given me plenty of experience with various ways of teaching math “outside the box.”
