Experience Summary
I have over 15 years of Chinese language experience, attaining an advanced level of fluency. I have lived in China and taught English and basic Chinese. I understand the culture and understand what it takes to learn a language. I have very clear, standard pronunciation that generally causes a native to do a double-take after they hear me speak.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very hands-on, activity based. As each person is different, I adjust my teaching style to match that of the student. The most important thing is that the student is having fun and enjoying the experience so that they are encouraged to practice and get out of their comfort zone--which is where the real learning and progress takes place.
