Experience Summary
I am a linguist and have done English as my major at the university in ex-USSR. I also have a law degree from a Russian university and over 18 years of professional experience. I do teaching primarily in my free time and not for living. Therefore my teaching style is highly interactive and unlike classic academic language tuition. I can be of great help if you focus on business Russian because I have done lots of presentations, wrote thousands of letters, and drafted many legal papers, including intergovernment treaties. But don't be scared, I am not you typical buraucrat, I can make learning fun!
Teaching Style
the course is very informal, we will be speaking Russian a lot, you wil watch Russian cartoons and films and listen to audio books and songs. I will give you Russian books and articles to read and discuss. You will learn the difference between the language of Tolstoy and Dostoevski and contemporary Russia. You will learn how to distinguish some Russian regional accents. It will be fun!
