Experience Summary
I have been tutoring for a few months already, mainly for sciences. I have 3 chemistry students and 2 biology students. I also have experience teaching groups. I was a teacher intern over the summer with breakthrough Miami. I taught 6th grade planetary science and Earth science. I am currently a marine biology student at FIU and am working in a lab that is testing whether the oil spill in the gulf is effecting deep sea communities in that area.
Teaching Style
I like making things hands on if possible. I try to focus on what the student is struggling with rather then covering subjects that they understand.
My Hobbies
My hobbies include ultimate frisbee, soccer, softball, piano, drums, biking, hiking, kayaking, wakeboarding, snowboarding,skateboarding, swimming, SCUBA diving and much more.
