Experience Summary
+ Over 3 years Language Instructions (French/Arabic) and over 10 years Adult Management Training.
+ I developed curriculum materials to help students assimilate the target language in a fun and educative style.
+ I used Agents of technology to create a paradigm-shift changing student’s perspective towards the target language and helping them enhance their reading comprehension, listening and speaking skills.
+ I taught students how to translate from English to French, from basic idioms to more advanced vocabulary, to include current events, politics, disasters and economy. I further point out to them, when to obtain accurately the semantic meaning of the sentence, rather the word for word replacement, which can be disastrous.
+ I designed and rearranged teaching methods to accommodate the slower students and the more advanced ones, I further emphasized on the use of free voluntary reading, which is the best tool in second language acquisition. I
+ I strive to give my students positive reinforcements and constructive feedback for their evaluation.
+ I teach them “Petit à petit l’oiseau fait son nid” a French proverb for an entire philosophy, one that means "continuous improvement".
