Experience Summary
Experienced mother who has worked the last decade in a classroom. I have worked from birth up to 6th grade. I am currently enrolled in a reading specialist program and work for Richmond City Public Schools. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from my undergraduate program and currently hold this GPA at my Masters program.
I am qualified to teach mathematics as well as the basic elementary education courses offered by meeting all expectations of study determined by the state. Currently I teach Science and Math for 3rd graders. I have several extra courses in my undergraduate program focused on math content.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is "doing". We do a lot of activities to enhance the learning potential. I like to use several visual and mnemonic clues for children to use in the classroom setting. I will adjust my teaching style and differentiate according to the students I am working with. I believe I am qualified to meet the needs of all learners.
