Experience Summary
As an engineering major, I learned what it takes to work hard and excel in academics. I graduated at the top of my class with a 3.9 GPA. The engineering degree provided me with a deep understanding of both math and science and has enabled me to tutor and teach in those subjects at most levels. Over the past year I have been tutoring and substitute teaching in a variety of subjects with a focus on math and science.
Teaching Style
I love working with youth, both in the classroom and outside it. I am inspired by helping create knowledgeable and inquisitive children by providing them with the skills necessary for academic success. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences and that is precisely what I strive to do. Not every child learns the same and with this knowledge I am able to modify my teaching style to fit the learning style of the student.
