Teaching Style
My first love has always been teaching and working with students of all ages. I believe in meeting students where they are at in their academic performance, adapting to their individual learning styles, while finding creative ways to engage them in the learning process. My goal is to instill the love of learning in each student, so that lifelong academic success becomes a natural attribute and skill. I believe in hands-on learning and in making instructional material meaningful in the here and now. I abide by the 3 C’s in my teaching: creativity, compassion, and competence. I strive to ensue that my students are proficient, confident, and accomplished in their academic area of study.
