Having worked with students on phonics providing them with a better understanding of reading and writing. More importantly, because of working with children of various ages I have been able to understand and teach each student according to their abilities and in the process students were able to reach their potential and in some cases, even higher.
Teaching Style
I believe in teaching children with love, patience, encouragement, and respect. While teaching different techniques which will enhance each child's learning, it is essential to know what kind of learner children are. In order to provided children with the best teaching methods, I have to understand how children are able to learn. For example, children learn by watching, listening, and doing. However, some children are better visual learners or auditory learners, and or tactile learners. The best way for children to learn is by teaching creatively.
