Experience Summary
I have received rigorous instruction as to punctuation, grammar, syntax, and composition rules since my years of mandatory education. The knowledge and application of the same have expanded thanks to the years spent in college and at the university, where I have also had to use the notions in order to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
In the professional arena, I have been a Linguist, an Interpreter, a Translator, a Language Instructor, a Mediator, a Program Manager, and a Technical Writer. I have utilized the notions learned in school, as well as the opportunity to refine them in these professionally held roles, where clarity of text, verbal message, and direction of discourse are vital for successful outcomes.
I can speak many foreign languages including Spanish, Italian, French, Portugese and Latin.
Teaching Style
My techniques will be customized to the subject and student population. One of the techniques: I will use exercises and team involvement as additional tools for re-enforcement and opportunity of exchange, so that team spirit and creative opportunities can be encouraged and explored.
Students will notice how genuine my interest in education is, as I am an avid learner myself. I will also create an environment of comfort, exchanges, and suggestions. Where the subject materials and school policies allow, I may introduce additional techniques and suggestions.
