Experience Summary
I have a degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading and history. I also greatly enjoy teaching writing. I taught Pre-K for two years with a focus on reading, writing, and math. I was a nanny for a year for five and seven year old. I would assist with homework and practice reading skills. I currently am subbing in various classrooms and teaching general subjects from Kindergarten to Middle School. I have a passion for teaching and really enjoy helping children learn.
Teaching Style
I love working with children, especially in a one-on-one style to really help them grasp and understand a concept. I know all children are capable of learning and some just need a little extra help. By working with your child one-on-one I will be able to really understand what it is your child is not understanding and figure out a way to help them understand it. I will try my very best to come up with fun and exciting lessons that will make your child want to learn. I believe learning can be fun and try my best to be creative with my lessons so children do enjoy themselves while learning.
