Experience Summary
I have been a vocalist for more than 40 years. I've had some professional training in my younger years. I've also had some training as a guitarist. I'm currently applying for the guitarist tutor position. Although I don't possess a degree in music I feel certain that I can teach any curriculum specified in any coarse. I have just released my first CD in which I sing and play guitar. I perform locally around Knoxville and am received very well.
Teaching Style
I have plenty of formal training dealing with all types of people because of my management background. I do well with teenagers and younger children. My daughter is in her 2nd year of college, just ask her. I feel that if you approach teaching a subject in such a way that children or teenagers, for that matter, can relate to then the learning process will be that much more fun and enjoyable. I love playing the guitar and singing and would love to share my knowledge with those who want to learn.
