Experience Summary
I have been educating children who are experiencing difficulties in their learning through private and small group instruction for over 12 years. In addition to my BA and MBA, I have earned a certification from Structure of Intellect, Vida OR, so that I can assess the learning skills of students then train the brain to receive and process information in new ways. I work with all levels of students(K - 12)primarily in Mathematics and English.
Teaching Style
I employ the multiple intelligence philosophy when working with students. I believe that all students can learn; we must be able to identify their innate learning style and utilize that with innovative ways to teach them. The way information is presented can make it easier to grasp. I always look for the small successes, and praise the student, so that they gain added confidence to accomplish the more challenging ones.
