Experience Summary
My Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from Duke is the centerpiece of my career training as I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in environmental analysis. While a student at Tennessee Tech I taught undergraduate classes in Biology. I also taught workshops for some of my employers. I have had a long practical career in environmental consulting which gave me many real life experiences that I can draw from for examples. I was required to have excellent writing and communication skills to report findings to clients and write technical reports.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and in providing a constructivist approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
