Experience Summary
In the past, I have been a teacher/family service worker for preschool children, ages 3yrs to 5 yrs. I have the knowledge to create and implement age appropriate lesson plans. I have also assisted on achieving goals of Individualized Education Plans and documented required paperwork for each student in my classroom. I have held parent/teacher conferences and parent meetings, planned family day events, and attended trainings in the specific field of childhood development. My Associate degree in Early Childhood Education along with my Bachelors degree in Social Work has given me the professional skills to work with children in a group or individual setting.
Teaching Style
I am very organized with any task that I take on and I am able to adapt to different settings, as each child is an individual and may not learn the same as the next. I genuinely care about the children I have worked with in the past and present. I believe that children have the potential to meet and exceed expectations that are set for them on an individual learning level. I truly enjoy working with children of all ages.
