Experience Summary
I am a highly qualified Florida teacher, who holds a Professional license K-8 with a BS in Elementary Education/ESE in FLorida, RI, and have had over 9 years of experiences facilitating the personal and academic growth of a variety of people/settings/levels within the Education, ESE, and Human Services fields. In the last two years, I have tutored 3rd grade for FCAT testing.
Teaching Style
I love teaching in content fields, using themes or interests, particularly math and reading. The 7 Multiple Intelligences describe how I try to structure my lesson because each learner has their own learning style. I like to provide a combination of strategies, and make learning as functional as possible. Every learner has strengths and weaknesses, and a good teacher facilitates learning opportunities using someone's strengths, and teaches strategies towards the weaknesses.
