Experience Summary
In my Senior Honors study, I worked with a group of special needs children. I matched nontraditional learning methods to identify and develop talents and interests.
I have taught music privately, for music stores, and taught and assisted with music in public and parochial schools.
My teaching Internship was at Robbinsdale High School in art and
commercial design.
I served as Teaching Assistant to the Dean of Students while
earning my Master's - emphasis was creative and professional
writing skills.
I licensed and administered preschools and day cares in my churches.
I originated a heritage Theater troupe and taught through 21st
Century Schools.
Teaching Style
From childhood, "playing" school was a passion! Afforded an
excellent education by teachers, mentors, spiritual guides and
community leaders - I'm thrilled to meet today's promising learners
with the same measure of affirmation. Every child is talented and
gifted. The teacher's role is to design a context for success
within which problems are resolved, obstacles dismantled,
weaknesses strengthened and doors opened for continued enrichment.
