Experience Summary
I have always loved working with students and have been volunteering with them at my church since I graduated from high school in 2006. During my senior year at Ohio State, I began working with an after-school program comprised of bilingual children that live in Columbus, where I started helping kids with their homework (in Spanish and English). After I graduated with my degree in Spanish and Communication, I began tutoring one of my friends for one of her college Spanish courses and got a job giving homework help and running an after-school program for a bilingual school in Ohio.
Teaching Style
I like walking students through the steps to get to the answer, rather than just giving it to them. I want to affirm your child in everything so that they know that they are special. I will approach the problem in different ways if a child has a different learning style. I am patient and want to see your child do well.
