Experience Summary
Coming from a home where both parent went to college, I have always taken my education and schooling very seriously.I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Construction Science and BS in Business Management, which has enabled me to learn about many different types of subjects. With this experience I was able to learn how to study and prepare lesson plans for myself as well as others. Also with my college experience I was able to help others in the areas of mathematics, business, and reading.
Teaching Style
Working with and helping others is one of my favorite things to do. I usually only deal with math and I have learned over the years how to make that connection with young people who simply think math is too hard or I will not need it. When learning everything needs to be fun and the learner needs to be able to make real world connections with what they're learning so they will unconsciously remember it. This is what I try to instill in the students I am working with as well as making it interesting. When I leave each session I want my students to be a little better. If that happens every session I have done my job.
