Experience Summary
I have over 13 years of combined teaching and private tutoring experience of both children and adults. I have a diverse educational background with a primary focus in Biological/Health and Social Sciences, as well as English and Literature. I have excellent oral and written communication skills. I have written many research papers and narrative Doctor's reports. During the last 15 years I have taught and tutored adults in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, and Medical Terminology. Over the past seven years I have taught and tutored elementary school children Science, English and Basic Math.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with both children and adults. I have learned to cater my teaching style to the individual's learning style, and age level. I am available to provide outstanding quality tutoring to students. Tutoring children and adults I prefer and excel in the subjects of English, Reading, Writing, English as a Second Language, Science and Basic Math. I am very outgoing, organized, and reliable. I know how to make learning "FUN," and when learning is "FUN," it is well retained and not such an arduous task for students. I believe in using concrete abstract models and real life visual aids when teaching or tutoring.
