Experience Summary
I am a 2009 graduate of Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. My high level of concentration and excellent organizational skills has helped me achieve a strong academic record at Hampton University which reflects my diligence and commitment to success. Rigorous liberal arts courses and a concentration in psychology have provided me with a first rate writing ability as well as sharp analytical, problem-solving and research skills. Currently, I am an Algebra Readiness Tutor for University Instructors in their government funded tutoring program for the "No Child left behind Act". In this position I am responsible for developing and preparing students to pass their algebra classes and the SOL algebra 1 test.
Teaching Style
My intentions to earn a master’s degree in Clinical School Psychology will equip me with the knowledge to influence the next generation to mature and develop a respect for self and become productive citizens. In carrying on a tradition of many successful women before me, I choose to forge ahead in the new millennium by absorbing knowledge, staying true to myself and my Creator by connecting with an organization whose goals are parallel to my personal goals.
