Experience Summary
My experience as an Accountant has led to many rewarding experiences starting with working for a big-six accounting firm as KPMG, LLC in New York City. The exposure to the dynamics, complex situations, and expertise of colleagues and clients alike, gives you a well rounded understanding of how accounting is the language of any business in any industry. As an Accountant, you not only use your skills and analytical ability to resolve some difficult business problems, but also learn how to communicate them in a clear and concise manner. Once you reach a proficiency in your abilities as an Accountant, there are many different areas of business that are open to you because you are wee versed in how a business or industry works.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is practical. I try to relate the accounting principles and axioms to a situation the student is familiar with in there everyday lives, i.e., grocery store, bank, their car, house, etc. Once the principle is understood with clarity, I proceed to implement the principle with extensive problem solving until the student feels comfortable with their proficiency in recognizing the principle and knowing how to apply it.
