Experience Summary
Certified statistician, equity analyst, and derivatives trader, I am a financial economist able to teach a variety of topics based around the core of my dual degrees. I am well versed in subjects familiar to CFA and CFP exams, Series 3,6,7,63, and 65 exams, and college level Economics, Finance, and Statistics courses. I am an alumni of the University of Tampa as well as Penn State and Northwestern. I also offer specialized training in IT applications including Bloomberg, SAS, R, Minitab and Excel as well as financial and graphing calculator tutorials.
Teaching Style
I think strength assessment and goal setting are crucial first steps in the one-on-one teaching process. I have a results oriented approach and I try to tailor my style to individual objectives and abilities. The specialized topics I'm experienced in often require some motivating and entertaining on my part to achieve peak performance in my students. Conceptual discussions, numerical drills, and hands on app work are often part of a comprehensive and focused course of study.
