Experience Summary
IAs a graduate student working to improve my teaching philosophy I realized that every child has a voice and is able to achieve more with time, guidance and modeling. Maria Montessori created her curriculum for the educator to first model the lesson, then guide the student through the lesson and then watch the student complete the lesson independently. Further, I have taught at every level including adults for 18 years and still strive to use the best practices as I encourage my students to do their best. Besides teaching for Pinellas County, I have worked for private tutoring companies and businesses instructing in all subject areas and social skills. I look forward to working for you.
Teaching Style
I am originally from Switzerland and found myself hating school as a child. As an educator I work to respect my students’ individualities. I truly believe that every child can learn and enjoy finding his/her style of learning with the guidance of a well-prepared educator. I am ready to help your child find his/her style and love of learning. I know that your child will reach his/her full potential given the opportunity with mutual respect. I teach to make a difference.
