Experience Summary
A proven leader (Marine Lieutenant Colonel and Director, Planning and Operations, clothing manufacturer), I have always pursued team excellence by improving the skills and knowledge of every individual on the team. My 10 years of formal teaching and instructing experience began with leading the first Human Relations Training program at a major Marine base. My 65 small groups all reflected the multi-cultural and multi-power mix of the unit. Whether it was instructing the top 10% of Marine Captains logistics and tactics or 40 clothing plant staff in Da Nang, Viet Nam how to use new computer systems, my goal has been and will continue to be to insure each individual is enabled to accomplish the most they can.
Teaching Style
My academic and theoretical foundation of a B.A. in psychology has been fine tuned by my 30+ years of professional experiences with thousands of individuals from many ethnic groups, economic backgrounds, educational abilities and goals. I understand we do not all retain and master information and constructs in the same way. I quickly adapt my approach to accommodate the better learning modality of the student. I have had the opportunity to contribute to positive changes in several individuals' lives and mastery of both simple and complex subjects. I will do all I can to enable students to succeed far beyond their current expectations.
