Experience Summary
I am an aspiring condensed matter physicist with extensive knowledge of chemistry and mathematics. I have experience in the industry working as a researcher and engineer which gave me a deep insight into applying the physical principles I learned in school. I have taught English as a second language in a formal setting and tutored numerous friends and colleagues in matters ranging from introductory physics to technical writing.
Teaching Style
I am an extremely patient and positive teacher. I believe that the fundamental gift a teacher can give to their students is the gift of confidence. In my experience the primary obstacle to a student's progress is usually their own disbelief that they can do it. As a teacher, if you can persuade the student to overcome this doubt, the rest of the job simply requires patience and resilience.
