Experience Summary
I have a bachelor degrees in elementary education and a master in special education, which allows me the ability to with students struggling in the areas of reading and math. I am able to collect data and progress monitor progress. I have learned to build on students learning styles and to promote differential learning. During the last three years I have worked one on one with students to increase their functional reading and math skills.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with struggling learners. I believe that using brain research and knowing learning styles enables me to support students in differential instructions. I believe that not all students are alike and and instruction should not be one size fits all. I want to make students life long learners and build a strong foundation from learning.
