Experience Summary
I am a self-directed, enthusiastic educator who is passionate about chemistry and science and committed to transfer this passion to students through interesting learning experiences. I am skilled in the design of challenging, enriching and innovative activities that address the diverse interests and needs of students. I possess good communication skills and more than twenty years of industrial and academic experience that will enable me to present information and emphasize the relevance of class material to the world beyond the classroom.
Teaching Style
I hope to develop and motivate students in ascertaining their cognitive strengths and abilities and discovering what they are truly capable of achieving. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages every student to trust their own opinions and to instill confidence in their ability to realize their full potential. Through my life experience, I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. It is the student’s responsibility to learn, and the role of the teacher to facilitate the learning process as a lifelong habit. My job is to establish a love of science and a desire for knowledge in each of my students.
