I have worked extensively with children in many areas due to the No Child left Behind Act. I have been to a Reading Academy, workshops, on the job training, and have been given title of model teacher. This is where new teachers come to observe my teaching of new programs that were put in place.
Teaching Style
I believe all children have potential to learn. I always try to find the best approach for teaching each child. I believe in positive reinforcement and giving a child a feeling of accomplishment after they have experienced so many feelings of failure. Teaching a child one on one is a much needed teaching method for a lot of children. I try to make learning fun and I love to see the light bulb pop on in their little minds!
