Experience Summary
I recently obtained my BS in Marketing along with a minor in Animal Science from Iowa State University. I was very involved with volunteer activities as a high school student, one of which involved tutoring elementary age children in the areas of reading and writing. I have long excelled in these areas, scoring nearly a perfect in the reading and writing sections on my ACT and working in advanced english courses throughout high school. I received A's on every term paper submitted in college, with high remarks on my writing style. I enjoy reading and writing thoroughly, with hopes of one day becoming a published author.
Teaching Style
In addition to tutoring children and helping those I babysat with homework, I also taught horseback riding lessons to young children for three years. I have a very laid back and encouraging style of teaching and am patient in my endeavors. My hope is to give my students the confidence to try and succeed beyond their own expectations.
