Experience Summary
I earned a Taiwanese Teaching Certificate in college. After college, I taught 7-9th grade math and chemistry for 2 years before coming to US to pursuit higher education. In my 15+ years as a chemist in chemical industry, I have helped and tutored many coworkers in their course work in both math and chemistry. I've tutored one-on-one since college and very comfortable with all levels and age group. I am now in a different stage of life and like to use my skill and knowledge in chemistry and math to help students concur fear and succeed.
Teaching Style
First I like to know the student's learning style, strength and weakness. From there I will build his/her confidence, improve and gain skill and concept using the methods most acceptable to the student. I am patient, energetic, and passionate. I believe every student can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. I want make a difference one student at a time.
