Experience Summary
In my employment history, I am actively involved with teaching and student retention. I tutor my students, advise them as to good study skills, develop my own curriculum to integrate with all departments and assist my students to succeed in all cases possible. My experience in teaching has given me the desire and drive to assist students to achieve a quality education and strive for excellence in all that they do.
Teaching Style
My personal education and teaching career have allowed me to fine tune my own teaching style, allowing for flexibility and creativity in the development of individual learning strategies for my students. I use scaffolding upon prior knowledge and positive reinforcement in my teaching tools. I have also taught individuals from very diverse backgrounds; and developed curricula for my own classes. I am very proactive in the endeavor to assist students at all opportunities, and I consider myself pro social in my attitude, thoughts and behaviors; which translates into action in all projects that I am a part of.
