Experience Summary
After I graduated from USF with a bachelor's degree in biology, I decided to further my education in the field of science. I went on to complete multiple master's degrees which has allowed me to gain an understanding of medical and biological sciences. During my educational endeavors I was afforded the opportunity to help teach the material I already covered to many of my fellow classmates, as well as undergraduates at each institution. I have tutored students for the past 3 years in subjects such as biology, physiology, anatomy, neuroanatomy, behavioral sciences, mathematics, physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, and molecular/cellular biology and genetics.
Teaching Style
Teaching is as much a science as nuclear medicine. Every person, whether they are learning the same or different subject matter, absorbs information and understands concepts differently. I am a very flexible instructor and can communicate information to almost any educational level or background. I accomplish this by studying the person that I am helping and analyzing how they relate to the material they are being taught. I find avenues of understanding that can relate to everyday situations in order to solidify concepts that are being taught. I am also a very rewarding instructor, I never give up on a concept or subject matter, and always make the teaching experience fun!
