Experience Summary
I strongly believe in the value of an education. This is demonstrated through the two bachelor degrees I have received. With degrees in Economics and Nursing, I have developed a strong basis of knowledge in math and science. Then throughout my college career, I have developed grammatical skills by writing research papers and essays. I have been able to help others learn by tutoring children in math and reading. Additionally, I have experience teaching children about their own health.
Teaching Style
My goal is to provide a positive learning experience for children. I believe learning is fun and I want them to have the same feelings. I strongly believe that demonstration followed by hands on learning and positive reinforcement is the most effective. On the other hand, I realize that we are all different and will deviate from my beliefs to accommodate the needs of the child. Watching the progress of a child arouses feelings of excitement and I find tutoring to be an invaluable and rewarding experience.
