Experience Summary
I have recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with an additional major in Mathematics. I have a solid understanding of different math subjects, including algebra and calculus. During the last three years, I have tutored students at my college in algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus and calculus. Thus, I have had experience in working one-on-one with students and keeping track of their progress.
Teaching Style
I enjoy tutoring and working with students in the academic environment. I believe students can learn and do well as long as they are taught in the correct ways. I am a very patient, supporting and outgoing person. With my tutoring experience, I am able to explain and break down the difficult concepts to the most basic level. I understand that students have various learning styles. However, I believe to improve their learning skills, all students should frequently review the basic concepts and practice the problems that they are having difficulties with. I am available to not only help students learn but also to give them the support they need.
