Experience Summary
I am a respectable and accomplished member of reputable scientific and professional organizations. During my postgraduate (MS and Ph.D) study years, I gained extensive scientific and research skills that proved very effective for tutoring mathematics, physics and electrical engineering basic courses at college. I have an excellent communication and presentation skills that I have applied in last eight years to successfully promote high level of academic excellence and teaching among schools and colleges. In past years, I also applied my vast skills in the of computers and software applications to successfully support computer literacy and math tutoring programs offered by United Support Foundation, Maryland.
Teaching Style
I have a strong passion for teaching and working with children. I tailor my teaching style to meet the needs of the students, focus on correcting the students' areas of weaknesses and reinforcing areas of positive strengths. Recognizing that every student learns in different ways, my teaching style adapts to the student’s aptitude, interests and learning motivation. I use tools such as graphic aids, analogies, comparisons in illustrating examples that are effective in aiding the student’s quick and easy understanding of the subject topic. I adopt easy hands-on exercises during my tutoring sessions which help my students appreciate and retain the basic understanding of importance of knowledge gained.
