Experience Summary
By day I work as a process engineer in a manufacturing facility. I love my job and the unique problems I get to solve every day.
I also love teaching and have previously worked at tutoring centers tutoring high school students in math, science and ACT test prep. I love math and science and I love sharing them with students.
Teaching Style
Because I have spent time at commercial tutoring centers, I know how to identify what type of learner your student is and what tools I can use to help them understand the abstract concepts math and science utilize. I also have the ability to tutor 2-3 students at a time in different subjects so feel free to ask about tutoring for multiple students in one session.
I understand my role as a tutor is not just to get the student's homework done, it's to make sure your student knows the concepts and can perform when it's test time. They will not just improve their grade in the class we are tutoring in; they will build a foundation for success in future classes as well.
